Mitzi was Operation Buddy Rescue’s first rescue. She was found wandering around on the streets of Rochester, NY in pretty rough shape. She was dirty, hungry, and had not been groomed in a long time. To top it off, she was expecting puppies. The veterinarian believes she was 1 week pregnant.
The kind person who found her brought her to the rescue. They took great care of her. They cleaned her up, gave her an adorable new hair do. A few months later, she produced 6 beautiful Shih-Tzu puppies who are now about 9 weeks old and just about ready for adoption. The puppies will be spayed/neutered, and micro-chipped along with their momma at the Rochester Community Animal Clinic. When they have recovered, they will all be ready for fur-ever homes.
