Buddy was shipped around to different states before he found his fur-ever rescue home in Rochester.

He ended up living with with a retired police officer, but escaped. He was on the run for 8 weeks before the rescue was able to capture him. He now lives with 4 other dogs in a loving home.  He is shy and cautious of new people and places, and his new owner is a dog trainer who will be working with him as part of her family.

“A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself.”

Josh Billings (a.k.a. Henry Wheeler Shaw; humorist and lecturer)

“Ever consider what our dogs must think of us? I mean, here we come back from a grocery store with the most amazing haul, chicken, pork, half a cow. They must think we’re the greatest hunters on earth!”

Anne Tyler
